Abstract

L'invention porte sur de nouveaux procédés de traitement des maladies hyperprolifératives affectant la moelle épinière, comprenant l'utilisation de polymères biodégradables pour traiter une tumeur de moelle osseuse récessive, c'est-à-dire, pour réparer des zones ouvertes laissées par le retrait de la tumeur de moelle osseuse. On personnalise des matériaux polymères biocompatibles pour remplir les zones précédemment occupées par des tumeurs, c'est-à-dire, des matériaux sous la forme d'éléments tubulaires configurés pour une introduction dans la colonne vertébrale après retrait chirurgical d'une tumeur. Ces éléments protecteurs peuvent également comprendre des agents médicinaux qui stimulent une régénérescence neurale de la colonne vertébrale, telle que des médicaments ou des cellules neuronales donneuses telles que des cellules souches neuronales humaines, aidant ainsi les patients à récupérer une fonction motosensorielle après une chirurgie de tumeur de moelle osseuse.
