Abstract

Des appareils et des procédés permettent de redimensionner des écrans AMLCD ou autres écrans électroniques, ainsi que des écrans redimensionnés faits au moyen de ces appareils selon ces procédés. Lécran électronique comporte un panneau antérieur (20f), un panneau postérieur (20 b), un joint périphérique (25) qui écarte le panneau antérieur (20f) du panneau postérieur (20 b), et un milieu de génération dimage contenu dans une zone entre les panneaux antérieur et postérieur. Une partie cible (20) de lécran peut être identifiée et séparée dune partie en excès de lécran, par exemple, en coupant et en rompant les panneaux (20) de lécran, créant ainsi un bord exposé (2) le long de la partie cible. Les panneaux (116, 118) de la partie cible sont pressés lun vers lautre, par exemple pour stabiliser ou comprimer la partie cible. Une colle est appliquée sur le bord exposé et on relâche la pression pour faire pénétrer la colle entre les panneaux le long du bord exposé.
