Abstract
A cart for vehicles such as a station wagon, a van, a sport utility vehicle, a crossover vehicle, a truck, and such. It includes a frame with a handlebar, a basket which can slide from the frame into the cargo space of a vehicle utilizing a movable and a stationary part of a guiding device. The frame can be lifted and secured to the vehicle cargo space.
Description
CART FOR VEHICLES WITH SLIDING BASKET
Field of Invention This invention is a cart for a vehicle that includes a sliding basket. This is a vehicle cart invention that utilizes a sliding mechanism to facilitate a simpler way of carrying items and loading them in and out of a vehicle. The cart can be used to carry various items (groceries, tools, clothes) and can be taken on various trips (grocery store, shopping, home).
Background of Invention At present the loading and unloading of goods in and out of vehicles is inconvenient. Heavy lifting increases the risk of back injury, lag strains, etc. For older or less mobile individuals, the loading and unloading of vehicle items becomes a difficult task. Another benefit is the individual ownership of a single cart, thereby minimizing the transfer of germs and bacteria that is often found on the handlebars of public carts.
This invention also minimizes the usage of plastic bags conventionally required for carrying items and therefore provides a greener solution to living.
Summary of Inventions This invention intends to eliminate the need for manual loading of items in and out of the cart, and provide a more secure, time saving, and efficient solutions for trips to the shopping mall, grocery store, and various other household errands.
This cart is secured on a solid frame placed backing the cargo space of the vehicle and utilizes a sliding mechanism for convenient loading and unloading.
The guiding device supports the weight of the loaded cart, aligns horizontally and vertically, prevents vehicle damage and directs the cart during sliding into the vehicle.
Description of the Drawings:
FIGURE 1: Is a perspective view of the cart according to the invention, it includes a frame (1) with handlebar (2) a basket (3) movable (4) and stationary part (5) of a guiding apparatus FIGURE 2: is a view of the invention. Showing the cart engaged with guiding apparatus.
Frame is locked with guiding apparatus.
FIGURE 3: Basket unlocks from the frame and manually slides into cargo space of the vehicle.
