Abstract

Selon l'invention, une unité de lecture lit un bloc d'extension à partir d'un support d'enregistrement dans un dispositif de reproduction. Une unité de commutateur extrait un flux de vue principale et un flux de vue subalterne à partir du bloc d'extension. Les flux respectifs sont stockés dans différentes mémoires tampons de lecture. Une unité de décodage lit les flux respectifs à partir des mémoires tampons de lecture respectives et décode les flux de lecture. Le temps (t) nécessaire à l'unité de décodage pour décoder tous les blocs de données dans un bloc d'extension est égal ou supérieur au total des trois temps suivants (t1, t2, t3): le temps (t1) nécessaire à l'unité de lecture pour lire des blocs de données autres qu'un bloc de données au début dudit bloc d'extension ; le temps (t2) nécessaire depuis le moment où l'unité de lecture finit de lire la fin dudit bloc d'extension jusqu'au moment où l'unité de lecture commence à lire le début du bloc d'extension suivant ; et le temps (t3) nécessaire à l'unité de lecture pour lire un bloc de données au début du bloc d'extension suivant.
