Abstract
In the sport of hockey it is known to be an important piece of equipment that can be constructed out of wood, hemp, fibreglass, resin, composite and aluminium. It has a shaft with a butt end and a blade for moving the object (puck or ball) in play. To be held in the users hands it enables the user to shoot, pass or stick handle the object (puck or ball) on the playing surface.
Description
SPECIFICATIONS
General Character - This invention (OOLOO) relates to a manually used piece of equipment used in the sport of hockey Nature - It is common in most cases that all sticks used in the game of hockey have a straight shaft with a butt end and blade. They have been made to be extremely light in weight, but they are moreover, unsatisfactory in use, as they tend to be ineffective by breaking/shattering when trying to pass, shoot, accept a pass or one timer due to low heat / cold tolerances in the material used in construction.
Inventive Idea I have found that these disadvantages can be overcome by providing 2 variable bends in the shaft of the stick (one for torque and one for lowering the butt end closer to the playing surface). Such bends permit the user a greater range of maneuverability, enhanced skills, shot power and stick integrity.
Full Description - In drawings Figure 1.1 (side view) illustrates the variable secondary bend that lowers the butt end closer to the playing surface ranging from 1/32" to 8".
- In drawings Figure 1.2 (overhead view) illustrates the variable torque bend that can range from 1/32" to 2 1/2" making the shaft concave or convex depending on which way the users shoots (right or left) - The secondary bend can start as early as 14" up the shaft from the blade and be moved up the shaft accordingly depending on what lie the user wishes to have for the blade and how much they wish to have the butt end closer to the playing surface thus making every stick unique to the user.
- Stick can be constructed out of wood, hemp, resin, fibreglass, composite and aluminium.
- Stick can be made of a solid one piece with blade attached or as a shaft with replaceable butt ends and blades.

Claims
Claims - A manually used important piece of equipment with 2 distinct bends in the shaft that change the users centre of gravity and posture.
- Variable torque bend in shaft ranging from 1/32" to 21/2" increases shot power and stick integrity.
- Variable secondary bend in shaft that lowers the butt end closer to the playing surface allows for greater maneuverability by changing the users centre of gravity and posture.
- Variable secondary bend in the shaft tucks in the elbow and allows the user to be more upright for a better line of sight of the playing surface.
- Variable secondary bend in the shaft improves stick handing - Variable secondary bend on the shaft enhances shooting accuracy - Variable secondary bend in the shaft enhances passing - Variable secondary bend in the shaft makes the user harder to hit off the object (puck or ball) in play.
