Abstract
The invention relates to a tooth flank polishing tool (31) comprising a base (32) that can be rotated about a central axis. A polishing fleece (33) which can be introduced into at least one tooth gap (39) of a gear (30) that is to be polished is mounted on the base (32). At least some sections of the polishing fleece (33) have an external contour that is adapted to the shape of a tooth flank (37). The tooth flank polishing tool can be used for polishing gears (30) or threads.
Claims (18)
1. Tooth flank polishing tool with a base (4, 32, 53, 72, 81, 91) rotatable about a central axis (3, 34, 74), with a polishing fleece (15, 20, 33, 56, 60, 73, 85, 94), which can be inserted in at least one tooth gap (7, 39, 77) of a tooth gear (1, 30, 71) to be polished, being attached to the base, wherein at least some sections of the polishing fleece (15, 20, 33, 56, 60, 73, 85, 94) have an outside contour (13, 14, 57, 87) matching the shape of a tooth flank (8, 37, 76).
2. Tooth flank polishing tool according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the polishing fleece (15, 20, 33, 56, 60, 73, 85, 94) comprises an organic, synthetic and/or mineral material.
3. Tooth flank polishing tool according to claim 2, characterized in that the polishing fleece (15, 20, 33, 56, 60, 73, 85, 94) comprises cotton or sisal.
4. Tooth flank polishing tool according to claim 2, characterized in that the polishing fleece (15, 20, 33, 56, 60, 73, 85, 94) comprises resin fibers, tangled resin fibers or nylon.
5. Tooth flank polishing tool according to claim 2, characterized in that the polishing fleece (15, 20, 33, 56, 60, 73, 85, 94) comprises aluminum oxide (Al2O3).
6. Tooth flank polishing tool according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the polishing fleece (20, 57, 94) is applied at least over sections of a surface of the base (23, 53, 91).
7. Tooth flank polishing tool according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the polishing fleece is strung over the surface of the base.
8. Tooth flank polishing tool according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the polishing fleece (15, 56, 85) is inserted in a radial circumferential groove (12, 55) or a seat (84) of the base (4, 53, 81).
9. Tooth flank polishing tool according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the base (4) and the polishing fleece (15) together have the shape of a polishing disk (2).
10. Tooth flank polishing tool according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the base (32, 53) and the polishing fleece (33, 56, 60) together have the shape of a polishing worm gear (31, 51, 58).
11. Tooth flank polishing tool according to claim 10, characterized in that the polishing fleece (32, 56) forms a tooth (40).
12. Tooth flank polishing tool according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the base (72, 81, 91) and the polishing fleece (73, 85, 94) together have the shape of a polishing finger (70, 80, 90).
13. Tooth flank polishing tool according to one of the claims 1 to 12, characterized in that an oscillation generator (95) is at least indirectly coupled with the base (4, 32, 53, 72, 81, 91).
14. Tooth flank polishing tool according to claim 13, characterized in that the oscillation generated by the oscillation generator (95) is an ultrasound oscillation.
15. Use of a tooth flank polishing tool according to one of the preceding claims for polishing tools flanks (8, 37, 67) of a tooth gear (1, 30, 71).
16. Use of a tooth flank polishing tool according to claim 15 for polishing tooth gears (1, 30, 71) having a diameter > 1000 mm.
17. Use of a tooth flank polishing tool according to claim 13 or 15, characterized in that an oscillatory motion in at least one spatial direction is superimposed on the rotary motion of the base (4, 32, 53, 72, 81, 91) with the oscillation generator (95).
18. Use of a tooth flank polishing tool according to one of the preceding claims for polishing a thread.
