Abstract

An implement that can be attached to any front loader, or Skid-Steer to give automatic 360 degree horizontal rotational properties with power assist to the multitude of implements it controls.
It enables automatic floating control over the 3 axis of rotation, being the, Pitch-axis, Roll-axis, and Z-axis.
Quickly attaches to Scrapers, Brooms, Rakes, Weel-Wackers, Etc, "The Finger"
operates forwards, backwards, or sideways the implements automatically rotates back to the direction of travel without an operator response cutting grading time in half or less. The unit is also equipped with "Power Assist for manual control and working in tight spaces to eliminate the need for hand finishing. Normally Skid-Steer's leave a lot of wheel ruts making fine grading in soft dirt or asphalt time consuming. Since the implement connected to "The Finger" revolves around it, and Floats with the ground. The Skid-steers movements are minimal and hand-raking becomes a thing of the past.

Description

Description: "The Finger"
In the particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention illustrated the main advantage of this tool is the speed and manuverability. The fact that it operates as well forward, backwards or sideways, adds to the speed of "The Finger", but it can operate in confined spaces leaving virtually no hand-work at all. Commercially sold Power Rakes are great for wide open spaces where little turning is involved and the tracks or wheel ruts are not much of a problem. Since the implement attached to "The Finger"can rotate a rake 360 degrees no time is wasted in trying to position the machine & less wheel damage occurs. It's ability to reach out and operate sideways allows the machine to operate where other machines can't reach. When "The Finger" is rotated so that the implement is away from the cab it reaches out approx 10.5 feet allowing it to rake or scrape under trees or low objects. Since we have 360 degrees of rotation the operator can pull debris out from one area, push it forword or sideways, and pile it up for removal without ever having to drive over the deris. When attached to a broom, you can easily clean up inside a building even where commercial cleaning equipment can't reach. Since "The finger" - is mounted and carried high; the visibility in the work area is unparralleled. The arms of the Skid-steer are above the operators eyes making this machine a pleasure to operate in any direction.
