Abstract

Un système d'allumage pilote pour un appareil au gaz extérieur fournit un allumage pilote qui est isolé du vent ambiant autour du brûleur en éloignant physiquement l'allumage pilote des brûleurs. La distance est surmontée en fournissant un jet de gaz à l'ajutage légèrement en amont du pilote, le jet de gaz étant dirigé vers le brûleur. Le jet de gaz est allumé par le pilote, ce qui donne un torche ou un jet de flamme s'étendant de l'allumage pilote jusqu'à la longueur en amont de l'enceinte du brûleur. Le jet de flamme ferme la distance entre l'allumage pilote et le brûleur, tandis que la distance elle-même isole la lumière pilote du vent au voisinage du brûleur.
