Abstract
Un dispositif de refroidissement thermoélectrique à haut rendement et une méthode sont décrits. Le dispositif de refroidissement comprend un module thermoélectrique comportant un corps semi-conducteur pris en sandwich entre une paire de plaques thermoconductrices. Une alimentation comportant des mécanismes de circuit convertisseur fournit au corps semi-conducteur une alimentation en courant direct variable en continu régulière permettant datténuer la contrainte thermique présente dans les plaques conductrices et attribuable à la fluctuation différentielle de la température entre les plaques. Une des plaques est une plaque froide tandis que lautre est une plaque chaude; il en est ainsi, car le flux de courant dans le corps semi-conducteur transfère la chaleur de la plaque froide vers la plaque chaude. Un puits thermique froid est associé à la plaque froide en vue dabsorber la chaleur provenant de lenceinte isolée, pour refroidir lenceinte. Un dispositif de convection de chaleur comportant un puits thermique chaud évacue la chaleur de la plaque chaude afin de gérer efficacement la différence de température entre les plaques. Un dispositif dinstallation est adapté pour fixer le dispositif de refroidissement thermoélectrique à une paroi de lenceinte isolée, où le dispositif de convection de chaleur est disposé à lextérieur de lenceinte isolée. Un logement de convection dair peut être prévu pour évacuer la chaleur du puits thermique chaud, au moyen dun flux dair extérieur ou dun flux dair ambiant ou encore au moyen de ventilateurs et de portes, pour déplacer et canaliser le flux dair.
