Abstract

L'invention porte sur un emballage pour compositions de savon en pain à haute teneur en humidité qui permet de résoudre un nombre de problèmes potentiels associés aux compositions de savon en pain à haute teneur en humidité, par exemple en réduisant la perte d'humidité, en inhibant la croissance de moisissures sur le carton utilisé dans l'emballage et en empêchant le développement, sur le pain de savon et sur l'emballage, de taches colorées dues à la réaction chimique entre le savon en pain à haute teneur en humidité et le carton, en particulier le carton recyclé. L'emballage pour pain de savon de l'invention est réalisé dans un matériau stratifié comprenant un carton, un matériau thermoplastique disposé sur au moins un côté du carton, et un fongicide. L'invention se rapporte également à un procédé qui permet d'inhiber la croissance de moisissures sur un emballage en carton, croissance qui peut survenir lorsqu'une composition de savon en pain à haute teneur en humidité est stockée dans l'emballage en carton, en traitant l'emballage en carton avec un fongicide comprenant du chlorothalonil et du p-tolyl diiodométhyle sulfone, et en emballant ensuite la composition de savon en pain à haute teneur en humidité dans l'emballage en carton traité.
