Abstract
A waste extraction device from fish farming sea cages which includes a device support means, a waste receiving means, a waste contention means and a waste extraction means arranged on and to a cantilever distance of the contention means.
Description
Title DEVICE FOR EXTRACTING WASTE FROM FISH FARMING SEA CAGES
Description Field of the invention The present invention relates to a device for the waste extraction from the sea cages, particularly in aquaculture. Preferably the device is used to remove dead fish, fish waste, not consumed food and other elements that fall to the bottom of the fish farming sea cage net.
Background of the invention It is known in art to extract fish mortality from the bottom of fish farming sea cage net, in order to prevent contamination of the cage area and keep the health characteristics of said area.
Keeping the dead fish, and other organic solid and waste of not consumed food by fish in the cultivation area and suspended in the bottom of the cultivation sea cage net increases the fish mortality risk on the site, to retain the principal sources to increase dramatically agents that affect the growth rate and increased fish mortality.
At present, the most used procedure for the fish mortality extraction from the bottom of the fish farming sea cages is carried out manually, that is said extraction is realized by divers who are immersed in each of the cage depositing dead fish in mesh to be carried to the surface.
In order to automate the mortality extraction systems as well as to recover the not consumed food by fish, have developed a series of devices that allow extract said wastes from the bottom of sea cages net.
The document JP 8266185 publication date of October 15, 1996, of King Ralph, describes a fish mortality extracting device in fish farming cages, which is arranged in a net cage opening with a entrance portion into the net and a exit portion disposed outside the net, which is connected to a pipeline to extract mortality to a reception box located in the surface of the cage.
Through the description of document CL 2167-2002 publication date of February 27, 2004, of Daniel Salinas Vega, is known extraction mortality system from a fish farming cage without the use of divers, including a extractor pump located at the bottom of the cage net connected through an evacuation hose to recollectors deposit located in a boat or in the cage passage.
The application in process CL 1989-2006, publication date of October 27, 2006, of Kaweskar Development and Technology, disclosed a waste and dead fish extraction, reception and concealment device for located at the bottom of the cage net, which is formed from a invested conical body with a concave open reception surface and a piece housed on the bottom cone that forms a J-shaped conduit for the passage of waste and dead fish.
The problem that exists with the devices of prior art relates with the effective adapting of extraction and versatility of said waste extraction devices to the sea cages net, as well as the dispersal of dead fish sizes that can be extracted, at the same time the transportation capacity of said deaths across said devices. In particular devices disclosed by Rey and Vega presented the problem to be disposed in the bottom of an open net or the net should be open to locate the extraction device in said net, in order to fixed the transportation conduit outside the net to the device output areas located outside the net. In the case of extraction device disclosed by Kawaesker, presents the problem of suction capacity and fish sizes dispersion to suck, because due fo the J-shaped and measures that possess the piece for the waste passage, will lead obstruction it with very large fish, or a substantial quantity of fish to be withdrawn at any given time, which also must be frequently operated the device which would further complexity in the cultivation system.
Therefore there is a need to provide a device for waste extraction from fish farming sea cages that will allow to be very versatile in its application, without requiring constant monitoring of its operation, allowing increased dispersal fish mortality sizes to extract with the same device and having an increased suction capacity without using power for greater capacity, in order to increase the extraction capacity without increasing the manufacturing and operation costs.
Summary of the invention The object of the invention is to provide a fish mortality extraction device and organic solid and not consumed food by fish from the bottom of a fish farming cage net, without modification of the net bottom.
Another object of the invention is to provide a waste extraction device from fish farming sea cages, allowing dead fish extraction from the bottom of said cages, without the risk of obstruction of the extraction means, and allowing adjustable to be able to remove waste of different sizes, without changing the device.
The problems of prior art are solved with a waste extraction device from fish farming sea cages which includes a device support means, a waste receiving means, a waste contention means and a waste extraction means arranged on and to a cantilever distance of the contention means.

Detailed description of the embodiments.
Referring to Figure 1, shows a realization of the waste extraction device according to the invention. The device includes a support means (1) to which is attached a waste reception means (2) and a waste extraction means (4).
The receiving wastes are contained in a waste contention means (10), which could be observe more clearly the illustration in Figure 2, where wastes falling and are receiving through the reception means (2) are content until they are extracted by the extraction means 4). The support means (1) is formed by a body which has a base or bottom (14) and sidewalls (15) forming a hollow body with an opening (16). Said body can be filled in whole or in part through its opening (16) in order to give weight to the device and fixing stability of said device. The area that forms the filling of the body of the support means form a contention surface (17) of the receiving waste, forming the waste contention means (10). Support elements (3) are fixed and project from the body of the support means (1) where in one end are coupled with a fixing element (7), which allows support and fix the extraction means (4).
As noted in Figures 2 and 3, the extraction means (4) which is support and fixed through the support elements (3) and fixing element (7), allows fix in cantilever said extraction means (4) and supported at a distance above the waste contention surface (17). The provision of said support elements (3) and fixing element (7) allow regulate the height of which could be located the extraction means (4) with respect to the waste contention surface, achieving with said configuration regulate the device for different waste sizes to remove without changing the device completely. The extraction means (4) is formed by a main body (20) which has a first end (18) and a second end (19). The first end (18) which is located at a distance from the waste contention surface (17) has a diameter larger than the second end (19), defining a body with hollow bell-shaped, where across the entire perimeter defined by the end (18) of greater diameter is sucking the waste contained in the surface (17) of the waste contention means. At the second end (19) of the main body (20) of the extraction means (4) is attached a body (8) which has a constant diameter or dimension, to which is attached a conduit through which creates the waste suction and transporting to the sea cage surface.
In Figures 2 and 3 could be noted that the reception means (2) is formed by a body with a continuous wall inclined at an angle defined by a top surface (5) and lower surface (6), and with a first end (21) of smaller diameter and a second end (22) of greater diameter, where the first end is attached to the main body of the support means (1). The top surface (5) of the wall forms a reception surface that has an inclination degree that allow wastes falling through the cage are receiving in said inclined surface and slide towards the contention surface (17). In the vicinity of the second end (22) of the reception means (2) is disposed a row of holes (23) allowing fixed the net to the sea cage, in order to facilitate the waste reception and prevent the wastes falling below the walls of the reception means (2).
In a preferable form but not limiting of the invention the sea cage waste extraction device is disposed at the bottom of the net, where said device is attached to the holes (23) of the reception means (2), where wastes fall to the bottom of the sea cage are received by the reception means (2) where proceeds of the inclination and shape of the body allow said wastes to slip toward the contention means (10) keeping wastes on the surface (17) which are sucked through the extraction means (4) toward the sea cage surface through suction and transport pipes attached to the body (8) of the extraction means (4).
In the first modality of invention, as shown in Figure 4, the waste extraction device could have detection means (24) of waste held in the contention means (10), allowing activate automatically sucking and extraction of said wastes. In a preferred form said detection means may include a means of detecting additional weight of the device, or it may be an inspection camera, or any other means allows detect the presence of a certain amount of waste content on the surface (17) of waste contention. The location of said detection means (24) can be comprises in any provision in the extraction device without interfering in the waste extraction and suction as well as in receiving them.
In a second modality of the invention, as is depicted in Figure 5, the reception means (2) can possess an enlarged reception surface (25), which also allows hide the wastes contained in the waste contention surface (17) as well as increase the reception and containment capacity.
