Abstract

An induction heater device (1) is constituted of a heater portion (2), a plurality of feeder rollers (R) and a leveler portion (3), and is disposed downstream in regard to a direction of conveyance of the rolled material (P) un-coiled from a coil box (B). The heater portion (2) has an inductor and heats a subject-to-heating material (P) by means of high-frequency induction. The feeder roller (R) conveys the rolled material (P) to the heater portion (2). The leveler portion (3) is provided in the vicinity of the heater portion (2) and limits a height of a warp of the subject-to-heating material (P), thereby improves heating ability of the heater portion (2) substantially and prevents the rolled material (P) from being in contact with the heater portion (2).

Claims (8)

1. An induction heater device comprising:

a heater portion (2) having a predetermined gap and being configured to heat a subject-to-heating material (P) in the gap by means of high-frequency induction;

a conveyor portion (R) configured to convey the subject-to-heating material (P) to pass through the gap; and a leveler portion (3) configured to level a warp of the subject-to-heating material (P) so as not to bring the subject-to-heating material (P) into contact with the heater portion (2).
2. The induction heater device as recited in claim 1, wherein the leveler portion (3) includes an entrance leveler portion (4,11,21) provided at an entrance of the gap which the subject-to-heating material (P) enters.

The induction heater device as recited in claim 1, wherein the leveler portion (3) includes an entrance leveler portion (4,11,21) provided at an entrance of the gap which the subject-to-heating material (P) enters, and an exit leveler portion (5,12) provided at an exit of the gap which the subject-to-heating material exits.
4. An induction heater device as recited in claim 3, wherein the leveler portion (3) further includes an intermediate leveler portion (6,13,23) provided in between the entrance leveler portion (4) and the exit leveler portion (5).

The induction heater device as recited in any of claims 2 to 4, wherein the entrance leveler portion (4) comprises a guiding portion (4a) sloping downward relative to a direction of conveyance of the subject-to-heating material, and a leveling face (4b) provided in parallel with a plane of conveyance of the subject-to-heating material.
6. The induction heater device as recited in any of claims 2 to 5, wherein the entrance leveler portion (11) further comprises an adjuster mechanism (11a) to make a height of a leveling position at which the entrance leveler portion (11) abuts on the subject-to-heating material (P) variable.
7. The induction heater device as recited in any of claims 3 to 6, wherein the exit leveler portion (12) further comprises an adjuster mechanism (12a) to make a height of a leveling position at which the exit leveler portion (12) abuts on the subject-to-heating material (P) variable.

The induction heater device as recited in any of claims 2 to 4, wherein the entrance leveler portion (21) is a rectangular tube (21) having an exit (21b) having a lower height than a height of an entrance (21a) which the subject-to-heating material enters, and a sloping portion (21c) provided in between the entrance (21a) and the exit (21b), configured to level the warp (P) of the subject-to-heating material (P) by means of the sloping portion (21c).
