Abstract
In a device for attaining height, it is a common practice to resort to the use of a step ladder.
In this invention, a ladder bracket and a set of telescoping legs are easily installed under the top plate of the ladder, to perform a safety feature by preventing accidental side tip-out.
A conventional step ladder consisting of four legs, only provides the user the ability to achieve height without the security of a side tip-out.
By the addition of the two extendable telescoping side legs, broadens the securing area around the step ladder.
In this device, the ladder bracket having telescoping locking legs is installed under the top plate of the ladder, thus enabling the user the ability to extend the legs in a outwardly and downwardly position to allow for a wider securing circumference around the ladder.
By adding the optional ladder platform {T} allows a wider range of work area.

Description
Specifications:
This invention relates to a safety accessory bracket with extendable telescoping legs for securing a wider circumference of area around a step ladder to allow more stability and help in the prevention of side tip-out.
It is common in step ladder usage, that being and consisting of, four outreaching legs to provide a user an elevating tool to attain vertical height.
Although efficient, ladders of this type only provide security in a forward or backward slip-out situation at best.
By resorting to this invention one would increase the safety factor by adding up to seven additional supporting legs giving the user a wider circumference around a work area.
Description The ladder safety bracket and legs consists of four major components, the ladder bracket, two extendable- telescoping safety legs, the optional four way connector with work platform, and the locking knobs.
The ladder bracket consists of a U shaped bracket having three holes to allow for fastening below the ladder top plate, as well as the two chambers for receiving the telescoping extendable-retractable safety legs, which can be removed when not in use as shown Drawing "A" (Fig. l.b.).
Extendable-retractable safety legs consisting of tubular sections, with one placed inside the other making for a telescoping action, whether it be, for a inward or outward, or for an up or downward motion for locking and securing.
Locking knobs consisting of threaded knobs with handles for securing and or fastening the telescoping safety legs into place once established as shown in Drawing A
Ladder bracket as shown in Drawing "A" and represented by (Fig.l.a.) is fastened to the underside of the ladder top plate by either lower or upper fasteners.
Telescoping extendable-retractable safety legs as shown in Drawing "A" and represented by (Fig.l .b.) having a telescoping action for leveling and supporting.
Locking knobs as shown in Drawing "A" and represented by (Fig.l.c.) for the locking and securing of the telescoping - legs.
Drawing "D" represents the optional side platform which is viewed from a side angle which allows for the addition of five more supporting legs, which allow for an additional horizontal working platform giving the user a wider range of working area.
