Abstract
L'invention a trait à un dispositif d'interface de suivi d'objet à utiliser avec des ordinateurs et des consoles de jeu. Le dispositif d'interface de suivi d'objet suit le mouvement d'un objet mobile dans le champ de vision du dispositif d'interface de suivi d'objet et fournit une entrée à l'ordinateur ou à la console de jeu sur le mouvement de l'objet mobile. Le dispositif d'interface de suivi d'objet comprend un ou plusieurs moyens de détection qui visualisent un espace visualisé à travers lequel l'objet mobile se déplace, des moyens de réception de la sortie des moyens de détection pour déterminer la présence d'un objet mobile, des moyens de calcul d'un ou plusieurs paramètres du mouvement de l'objet mobile et des moyens de conversion des paramètres du mouvement de l'objet mobile en un signal qui peut être entré dans l'ordinateur ou la console de jeu. La présente invention porte également sur un appareil pour un jeu de simulation de sports pour jouer à des sports utilisant un objet mobile, le jeu comprenant un écran d'affichage, un dispositif d'interface de suivi d'objet pour suivre le mouvement de l'objet mobile à l'intérieur du champ de vision de l'interface de suivi d'objet, un projecteur pour afficher le jeu de simulation de sports sur l'écran et un ordinateur ou une console de jeu pour le fonctionnement du jeu de simulation de sports. Le dispositif d'interface de suivi d'objet comprend au moins un moyen de détection monté à chacun des angles supérieurs de l'écran pour fournir un champ de vision des moyens de détection pour couvrir l'espace devant l'écran. Le dispositif d'interface de suivi d'objet comprend également un moyen de réception de la sortie des moyens de détection pour déterminer la présence d'un objet mobile, un moyen de calcul d'un ou plusieurs paramètres du mouvement de l'objet mobile et un moyen de conversion des paramètres du mouvement de l'objet mobile en un signal qui peut être entré dans l'ordinateur ou la console de jeu.
