Abstract

L'invention concerne un système à anode unique utilisé dans plusieurs traitements électrochimiques pour combattre la corrosion de l'acier dans le béton. Ce système comprend un métal sacrificiel capable de supporter des densités élevées de courant anodique appliqué avec un détail de connexion d'anode à courant appliqué et un matériau d'encastrement poreux contenant un électrolyte. Initialement le courant est amené du métal sacrificiel [1] à l'acier [10] à l'aide d'une source d'alimentation [5] qui convertit l'oxygène et l'eau [14] en ions hydroxyle [15] sur l'acier et qui attire les ions de chlorure [16] dans le matériau poreux [2] autour de l'anode de sorte que les sites corrodés passent de l'acier à l'anode, rétablissant ainsi la passivité de l'acier et activant l'anode. La prévention cathodique est ensuite appliquée. De préférence, c'est la prévention cathodique sacrificielle qui est appliquée par déconnexion de la source d'alimentation et par connexion directe de l'anode sacrificielle activée sur l'acier.
