Abstract

L'invention concerne une installation d'affinage du cuivre à feu continu, comprenant les composants suivants : une goulotte (4) destinée à transférer le cuivre boursouflé liquide d'un four de conversion continu ou d'un four de rétention dans un premier réacteur d'oxydation ; un réacteur d'oxydation du cuivre (7) ; éventuellement, un décanteur séparant le cuivre oxydé et le laitier ; une goulotte (8) destinée à transférer le cuivre oxydé du réacteur d'oxydation dans un réacteur de réduction ; un réacteur de réduction du cuivre (12) ; et une goulotte (14) destinée à transférer le cuivre réduit du réacteur de réduction dans un canal de coulée ou dans un four de coulée à rétention.
