Abstract

A garment hanger for use in stretching garments to avoid need for ironing. The garment hanger includes expandable and pliable portions such that a user may customize a stretching structure over which cavities of a garment may be fitted. A freshly laundered garment may be stretched over the hanger to dry, and then stored in a closet.

The No Iron Hanger hereinafter referred to as the "NIH" is a hanger that allows a person to take clothes directly out of a washing machine place them on the NIH with the end result of the clothes not needing any ironing. How does it work? - there are special pliable dowel attachments connected to the body of the hanger that allow the clothes to stretch out in a fashion that clothes air dry on the NIH and leave the clothes wrinkle free, provide a seam like an iron would and eliminates the need for a clothes dryer and an iron.

The NIH is adjustable to fit all clothing sizes and the pliable dowel components are adjustable as well and stay in place once the clothes are set within the NIH. The NIH works on all clothes like shirts, pants, sweaters, coats, skirts and jackets and fits any size of clothing.

The NIH will fit in all closets as the sleeves on shirts, coats, sweaters and jackets as the dowels are crossed in front of these garments and also the pliable dowels work on pants and skirts as well to keep all of the garments stretched out to eliminate the need for ironing.

The No Iron Hanger that I have invented is completely different than any hanger with a current patent. Its time has come as with the world's desire to reduce the amount of energy we consume everyday the power consumed by a clothes dryer and an iron are eliminated as the hanger stretches out one's clothes as they dry in a fashion which eliminates wrinkles and provides a seam in the clothing similar to what an iron will do. The uniqueness of the No Iron Hanger is in the use of pliable dowels that are attached to the body of the hanger and results in a stretch to the clothing so the clothes appear to be ironed.
