Abstract
In order to interlock an electric contact within an insulating body (1) for a plug-type connector, the invention proposes to respectively realize integral clip-on means (10, 13) that are axially spaced apart from one another and on the clip-on edges (11, 14) of which the electric contact (20) can be inter--locked within a through-opening (2) on the mating side (4) and on the connection side (5).
To this end, the invention proposes a method in which two mould cores that encompass one another and form the through-opening with the clip-on means can be removed from the through-opening in opposite directions after the injection-moulding process.

Claims (9)
1. A method for manufacturing a locking device for an electric contact in a through-opening and an adjacent insertion compartment in an insu-lating body by means of an injection-moulding tool for a plug-type connector, wherein the through-opening in the insulating body is realized with the aid of two mould cores that partially encompass one another, namely a first mould core and a second mould core that are arranged within the injection-moulding tool forming the housing and can be respec-tively removed from the through-opening in axially opposite directions after the injection-moulding of the insulating body, wherein the mould cores are shaped such that clip-on means featuring clip-on edges are realized on the two ends of the through-opening.
2. Mould cores for a method for manufacturing a locking device accord-ing to Claim 1, wherein the first mould core has a roughly oval shape, and in that the second mould core is realized in the form of a U-shaped sleeve that can be pushed on and essentially encompasses the first mould core on three sides.
3. Mould cores for a method for manufacturing a locking device accord-ing to Claim 1, wherein the mould cores are shaped such that they form slopes on the stopping bow and the locking block.
4. A locking device for an electric contact in a through-opening and an adjacent insertion compartment in an insulating body, wherein the through-opening respectively features clip-on means that protrude into the interior on its two ends, wherein the clip-on means are arranged such that they are offset rela-tive to one another by 180°, and wherein the electric contact can be interlocked within the region of the clip-on means that are axially spaced apart from one another.
5. The locking device according to Claim 4, wherein the clip-on means are realized in the form of a U-shaped stopping bow on the end that serves as the mating side and in the form of a locking block on the end that serves as the connection side.
6. The locking device according to Claim 5, wherein the U-shaped stopping bow on the mating side extends from its maximum extension protruding into the interior to the inner wall of the through-opening, namely in a symmetric fashion on both sides and without a transition.
7. The locking device according to Claim 5, wherein the U-shaped stopping bow features a clip-on edge.
8. The locking device according to Claim 5, wherein the locking block on the connection side is provided with a clip-on edge and arranged in the through-opening on an exposed overhang within the insertion compartment of the insulating body on the connection side.
9. The locking device according to Claim 4, wherein the electric contact features a circumferential groove, the edges of which are realized in the form of an undercut.
