Abstract

Le transporteur de grains et d~engrais (10) de la présente invention transporte de la matière particulaire de façon rapide et efficace tout en réduisant le dommage causé à la matière (75) transportée. Le transporteur comprend un boîtier allongé (14) qui renferme une bande transporteuse (16) adaptée pour recevoir la matière par l~intermédiaire d~une trémie de réception au niveau d~une extrémité inférieure du boîtier et pour transporter la matière vers l~extrémité supérieure du boîtier pour une décharge à partir de celle-ci. La bande transporteuse (16) est à la fois à tasseaux (66) et bordée (68, 70) ce qui permet que de plus grands volumes de matière soient transportés sans être en contact avec les parois latérales du boîtier (14) et ainsi de réduire le dommage causé à la matière. En outre, le transporteur (10) comprend un mécanisme non complexe destiné à tendre et détendre la bande (16). Il est prévu que le transporteur (10) de cette invention peut remplacer de nombreux transporteurs et des tarières qui sont utilisés aujourd~hui dans l~industrie agricole.
