Abstract
Un noud d'alimentation intégral d'un bus de données informatique, tel qu'un port USB (bus série universel), constitue une source commode de courant de charge pour des appareils de communication mobiles. Malheureusement, les ports USB ont une capacité limitée en alimentation électrique, ce qui les rend généralement incompatibles avec les contrôleurs de charge de batterie (CCB) qui sont conçus pour recevoir une entrée constante et de haute capacité. L'invention comporte un circuit de charge qui s'ajuste aux paramètres d'un bloc d'alimentation externe, tel qu'un port USB, en ajoutant un circuit de régulation à un CCB de conception standard. Ce circuit de régulation maximise le courant tiré par le CCB, tout en gardant la tension du CCB au-dessus d'un minimum prédéfini (la tension inférieure de coupure du CCB). Si la tension au CBB commence à baisser, le circuit de régulation réduit le courant tiré, de sorte que la tension augmente et demeure dans la plage opérationnelle du CCB.
