Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de revêtement de matériaux légers (alliages d'Al, de Mg et de Ti) par une mince couche d'oxyde. Le revêtement d'oxyde, qui porte de petites dépressions à sa surface, est synthétisé par un procédé d'anodisation sous haute tension pour lequel peuvent avoir lieu un décapage et une oxydation au plasma dans un électrolyte alcalin. Tel que synthétisé, le revêtement a la microstructure, les propriétés mécaniques et tribologiques, la conductibilité thermique et un fini de surface requis pour des applications de contacts mobiles et d'usure dans des conditions de température ambiante ou élevée. La présente invention peut en particulier être appliquée à des alliages Al-Si pour la protection contre l'usure et la corrosion/usure d'un système cylindre-piston d'un moteur à cylindres non chemisés en aluminium et des pièces utilisées dans des véhicules à carburant de remplacement.
