Abstract

Un dispositif de fixation pour les chaînes utilisées sur un camion à plate-forme comprend un système électrique pneumatique avec un piston inséré partiellement à l'intérieur d'une fente et qui pousse la chaîne vers l'extérieur. Au lieu de fixer la chaîne à un bras de levier, la chaîne est passée à travers une boucle fixée à un petit segment de chaîne, qui en fait remplace le bras de levier là où il se trouverait normalement. Une fois que la chaîne est passée à travers la boucle, elle continue sa course vers une fente où l'utilisateur tire sur la chaîne et en introduit les maillons dans une fente afin de la fixer solidement. Afin d'enlever de la fente les maillons de la chaîne, un piston pousse la chaîne hors de la fente. Le piston qui est de type pneumatique hydraulique ou électrique est actionné à distance par un interrupteur électrique qui peut être situé dans la cabine du camion de façon à s'assurer que personne ne se trouve à proximité de la chaîne quand elle est relâchée. L'agencement de la fente et du piston est conçu pour s'intégrer dans un ensemble compact unique.
