Abstract
La présente invention a pour objet une méthode d'inhibition de la déshydratation des flocs d'asphaltène dans une cuve de séparation de mousse de bitume. La mousse de bitume diluée est séparée dans la cuve en une fraction de faible densité constituée de bitume et d'un solvant ainsi qu'en une fraction de forte densité constituée de particules solides, d'eau et de flocs d'asphaltène, lesdits flocs étant eux-mêmes constitués d'une émulsion d'asphaltène et d'eau. Un dispersant eau-asphaltène est ajouté à la mousse avant de verser le solvant. L'invention a aussi pour objet un système dans lequel le bitume est envoyé dans une cuve de séparation de mousse de bitume au moyen d'une conduite d'alimentation équipée d'un premier assemblage d'injection pour injecter le dispersant eau-asphaltène et d'un second assemblage d'injection pour injecter le solvant. Le premier et le second assemblages sont espacés le long de la conduite, le premier étant situé en amont du second.
