Abstract
Des modes de réalisation d'une méthode et d'un système sont présentés pour suivre, par exemple, l'historique local d'un animal. Ces modes de réalisation recueillent de l'information comme un identifiant universel, qui identifie de façon unique un animal, et des identifiants de lieux, qui indiquent un ou des emplacements occupés par un animal. Ces données recueillies sont transmises à un administrateur de données sécurisé qui protège et trie les données de façon à ce que l'information confidentielle ne soit pas rendue publique. Par exemple, lorsque survient un enjeu de santé publique, comme la maladie de la vache folle, l'administrateur de données génère un rapport de dépistage indiquant quels animaux ont été mélangés avec l'animal infecté. Selon le rapport de dépistage, d'autres animaux malades ou possiblement malades peuvent être traités, mis en quarantaine ou abattus. De plus, les modes de réalisation de la méthode et du système facilitent les transactions commerciales en fournissant de l'information de trace qui valide, par exemple, l'état de santé des animaux et la qualité de leur nourriture.
