Abstract
The device has a diaphragm (101) applied to the walls of a core against a sheath of an electrical cable. The diaphragm consists of eight clamping jaws (102) that have a section of triangular form. A control unit controls the crimping quality of the core on the sheath. The control unit has a force sensor for crimping according to the displacement of the clamping jaws. An independent claim is also included for a core.
