Abstract

Une méthode de fabrication d'une palette formable de hockey, la méthode comprenant la fourniture d'un noyau doté d'une première et d'une deuxième parties de palette avec une épaisseur, le noyau étant fabriqué de mousse extensible d'un coefficient de Poisson d'au moins 0,33; formant une palette de bâton préformée en enrobant le noyau d'une couche de fibres préimprégnées d'un matériau thermoplastique, le point de ramollissement du matériau thermoplastique étant dans la même gamme que celle de la mousse, plaçant la palette de bâton préformée dans un moule, appliquant de la chaleur et de la pression au moule de façon à faire fondre la matrice de fibres thermoplastiques, ramollissant les parties de la palette et comprimant la palette de bâton préformée de façon que l'épaisseur des parties de la palette est diminuée, et retirant la palette de bâton préformée du moule.
