Abstract

Disclosed is a process for producing a solution of a daughter radionuclide that is substantially free of impurities by contacting an aqueous parent-daughter radionuclide solution with a first separation medium, eg.
Chromatographic column. The product solution of the desired daughter radionuclide is then contacted with a second separation medium to produce a pure daughter radionuclide solution.
