Abstract

Dans une tumeur solide ou d'autres tissus cancéreux de l'homme ou de l'animal, on peut utiliser des objets ou états spécifiques servant d'indicateurs ou de marqueurs biologiques des cancers et de leur évolution. A cet effet, on identifie et quantifie (104) les marqueurs biologiques dans une image en 3 D d'une zone d'intérêt (102). On peut prendre dans le temps une suite d'images en 3D permettant de suivre l'évolution des marqueurs biologiques (108). On utilise des techniques statistiques de segmentation pour identifier les marqueurs biologiques dans une première image, puis on reporte l'identification dans les images restantes.
