Abstract
Bride pour la réparation permanente ou temporaire de tuyaux, comprenant une bande de bride métallique pour entourer le tuyau. La bande est allongée aux deux extrémités afin d'adopter une forme creuse comprenant une base plate, une partie en forme de coin et une partie ronde convexe. Des ouvertures de forme allongée sont prévues afin de permettre le passage de vis à travers la forme creuse. Les rebords étroits des coins sont en contact entre eux afin de former un espace de forme essentiellement triangulaire entre les extrémités formées. Un manchon d'étanchéité intérieur souple est placé à l'intérieur de la bande à bride et une paire de bordures, chacune comportant une surface principale pour toucher à la surface extérieure de la partie ronde convexe coulissant sur la cette même partie convexe lorsque les fixations sont serrées ou desserrées afin de maintenir la surface de contact perpendiculaire aux axes des fixations. Une surface de contact opposée sert d'épaulement de support pour une série de vis. Les vis en question sont introduites dans les ouvertures de la bordure où le serrage des vis réduit la grosseur de l'espace triangulaire et serre la bande de bride métallique afin de comprimer le manchon intérieur souple de manière étanche contre le diamètre extérieur du tuyau.
