Abstract

Dispositif de serrage de tuyaux, qui comporte une première mâchoire pourvue d'une première surface de serrage, et une deuxième mâchoire pourvue d'une deuxième surface de serrage. La première mâchoire et la deuxième mâchoire sont interconnectées de manière à pouvoir se déplacer l'une par rapport à l'autre à des extrémités proximales grâce à un premier arbre du dispositif, et à des extrémités distales grâce à un deuxième arbre. Les première et deuxième surfaces de serrage sont séparées par un espace conçu pour recevoir un tuyau. La première mâchoire peut tourner par rapport au premier arbre et entrer en contact avec le deuxième arbre pour permettre de monter le dispositif autour d'un tuyau, ce tuyau étant positionné dans l'espace entre le premier et le deuxième arbre. Des moyens d'actionnement permettent de déplacer le premier arbre dans le sens axial pour réduire l'espace et serrer le tuyau entre la première surface de serrage de la première mâchoire et la deuxième surface de serrage de la deuxième mâchoire, afin de bloquer au moins partiellement l'écoulement de fluide dans le tuyau ; au moins une des mâchoires se cintre à un niveau donné de serrage du tuyau pour permettre d'appliquer une pression supérieure sur les extrémités de section du tuyau.
