Abstract

The invention relates to a connection device for an electric accumulator (10 ) comprising a first connection sub-assembly (16) which is connected to one of the electrodes (12). The inventive device also comprises a metal conductive blade (20), which is provided with numerous spikes intended to be embedded i n the electrode (12) in order to establish the electrical contact, and electrical and/or thermal protection means which are housed in a module (25) that is fixed and electrically connected to one of the ends of the blade (20 ).

Claims (10)

1. Connection device for an electric accumulator (10) comprising a first connection subassembly (16) associated with one of the electrodes (12), and a second connection subassembly (18) associated with the other electrode (14), characterised in that the first connection subassembly (16) comprises:
- a metallic conducting strip (20) provided with several pins (22) that will be embedded in the electrode (12) to make the electrical contact, - and temperature and/or electrical protection means housed in a fixed module (25) electrically connected to one of the ends of the strip (20).
2. Connection device for an electric accumulator (10) according to claim 1, characterised in that the pins (22) are distributed over the entire surface of the strip (20) that comes into contact with the electrode (12).
3. Connection device for an electric accumulator (10) according to claim 1, characterised in that a soft conducting metal strip (24) covers the plane surface of the electrode (12) before pressure is applied to the strip (20) to force it into place.
4. Connection device for an electric accumulator (10) according to claim 3, characterised in that the strip (24) is based on lithium.

Connection device for an electric accumulator (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that temperature protection means comprise a temperature switch (26) activated by a state change of a paste (30, 42) sensitive to a change in temperature, and return means that pull the switch (26) towards the open position when the temperature exceeds a predetermined limit.
6. Connection device for an electric accumulator (10) according to claim 5, characterised in that the conducting paste (30) is placed in the contact gap.
7. Connection device for an electric accumulator (10) according to claim 5, characterised in that the paste (42) is made of a material that melts under the action of heat.
8. Connection device for an electric accumulator (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the electrical protection means comprise an electrical switch (27) comprising a circuit breaker with a rated fuse, formed by a local restriction of the cross section (36) of the conducting path of an electrical connecting part (31).
9. Connection device for an electric accumulator (10) according to claim 1, characterised in that the protection means may comprise a CTP resistance in series with the strip (20).
10. Connection device for an electric accumulator (10) according to claim 1, characterised in that the second connection subassembly (18) is obtained by welding the electrode (14) to a foil (50) after pre-tinning of contact area (54).
