Abstract

Catalysts with bimodal pore radius distribution, comprising a) 10 to 99.9 wt.
% zirconium dioxide, b) 0 to 60 wt. % aluminium oxide, silicon dioxide and/or titanium dioxide and c) 0.1 to 10 wt. % of at least one element of the first or second main group, an element of the third sub-group, an element of the eighth sub-group of the periodic element system, lanthanum and/or zinc, with the proviso that the total of the weight percentages is 100.
