Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé servant à promouvoir la distribution de contenu d'une source de contenu à un ordinateur client via un système de distribution de contenu. Ce procédé consiste à associer une source de contenu à l'extérieur du système de distribution de contenu avec un noeud de transfert à l'intérieur du système de distribution de contenu. Cette association entre la source de contenu et le noeud de transfert est indiquée à un ordinateur client. Lorsque l'ordinateur client reçoit une demande de contenu provenant de la source de contenu, cette demande est réorientée vers le noeud de transfert associé. Ledit noeud de transfert associé satisfait alors la demande.
