Abstract
In a guide bearing device of a center support system, guide bearing sectors are supported by pivot support devices in their centers. Given that an outer radius of a rotor shaft is Rj, the machining radius of guide bearing surfaces of the guide bearing sectors is Rb and the pressurization coefficient m representing the degree of protruding deformation given to the guide bearing surfaces in advance is m=1-{C/(Rb-Rj)}, the pressurization coefficient m is set in the range of 0.96 to 0.99.
