Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil d'irrigation oculaire comprenant une oeillère. Cette oeillère renferme un liquide de lavage oculaire permettant de procéder à des lavages oculaires. OEillère présente un rebord plus large profilé pour l'orbite de l'oeil et repose sur la zone de l'orbite de l'oeil. De plus, cette oeillère comprend un dispositif agitateur interne, il permet de brasser le liquide de lavage oculaire pendant l'utilisation. Les éléments du dispositif agitateur sont fixés à cette oeillère en conséquence. La puissance et la durée du brassage sont prédéterminées de manière à éviter tout dommage de l'oeil. L'appareil susmentionné est conçu pour permettre le mouvement des paupières et du globe oculaire à l'intérieur de oeillère, au cours de son utilisation. Le rebord de oeillère compense les irrégularités de l'orbite et élimine la sensation d'inconfort autour de l'oeil. Le rebord peut être pourvu d'un revêtement d'étanchéité permettant d'augmenter le confort et l'étanchéité du liquide autour de l'oeil. En outre, une grille placée entre le rebord et l'agitateur permet de tenir l'utilisateur à distance de l'agitateur, une bande magnétique peut être placée à proximité de la partie inférieure du rebord afin d'attraper des particules métalliques ferreuses lorsque l'appareil est utilisé dans un environnement industriel. Dans certains cas, oeillère ne comprend pas mécanisme d'entraînement, ainsi elle peut s'adapter au mécanisme d'entraînement d'un support de brosse à dents électrique.
