Abstract

De manière générale, l'invention concerne la détection et la transmission de données d'analyse depuis un dispositif de terrain vers un processeur. Un mode de réalisation modèle concerne un procédé permettant de saisir et de transmettre des données d'analyse appartenant à un analyte inconnu. Les données provenant de l'analyte inconnu sont saisies à l'aide d'un dispositif de terrain à un premier emplacement géographique. Les données d'analyse sont ensuite transmises via un réseau informatique à un processeur à un second emplacement géographique. Dans un mode de réalisation optimal, les données d'analyse saisies sont transférées via un réseau mondial d'ordinateurs, tel qu'un réseau Internet, l'Internet, une combinaison des deux ou analogues. Dans un mode de réalisation modèle, le procédé consiste en un produit de programme informatique ou en un code informatique. Le produit comprend un code servant à saisir les données d'analyse appartenant à un analyte inconnu à l'aide d'un dispositif utilisateur (10). Le produit comprend également un code servant à coder les données d'analyse saisies et à transmettre ces données codées via un réseau informatique (18) à un processeur (12) afin d'être analysées. Le produit comprend également un code permettant à un processeur (12) de réaliser une analyse des données d'analyse à un emplacement éloigné, à l'aide des données des analytes connus extraits d'une bibliothèque électronique (14). Ce code ainsi que d'autres codes peuvent être utilisés dans le procédé susmentionné afin d'exécuter la fonction décrite ci-dessus ainsi que d'autres fonctions.
