Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de gestion de la génération d'affranchissements représentant des paiements pour plusieurs utilisateurs. Ledit système comporte une source sûre de fonds, une station de sortie, au moins un poste de travail d'utilisateur comportant un logiciel permettant à l'utilisateur de produire des données d'entrée correspondant aux affranchissements à générer, un système logiciel centralisé conçu pour interagir avec le logiciel d'utilisateur, la source sûre de fonds et la station de sortie, et un réseau pour transporter les informations entre le/les postes de travail et le système logiciel centralisé, et entre le système logiciel centralisé, la source sûre de fonds et la station de sortie. Ledit système peut également comporter un système de comptabilité de réimputation pour la réimputation des fond dépensés au débit d'un utilisateur du système. Les affranchissements peuvent être des empreintes d'affranchissement et le système peut également comporter un appareil pour le groupement de paquets postaux, ainsi qu'une imprimante pour l'impression d'empreintes d'affranchissement sur les paquets. L'invention concerne également un procédé mis en oeuvre au moyen du système de l'invention. Un système intégré comprenant une interface clients destinée à recevoir les commandes pour au moins un article parmi plusieurs à envoyer à un client ; un appareil de groupement pour grouper les articles commandés par le client sous la forme d'un paquet à envoyer au client par un transporteur ; et un appareil d'affranchissement ou de mesure des articles à envoyer au client.
