Abstract
Une hotte (10) de revêtement de verre comprend un logement (12) doté de bandes transporteuses (14) passant à travers celui-ci et de boucles d'écoulement d'air à grande vitesse transportant une composition de revêtement de verre entraînée destinée à être déposée sur des récipients en verre (16) transportés par les bandes. Près des bandes (14) se trouvent des tubes creux (116, 118) refroidis par un fluide de refroidissement circulant dans ceux-ci. Derrière les tubes (116, 118) de fluides de refroidissement se trouvent des ensembles d'évents verticaux (112) ainsi que des panneaux (120) à orifices de régulation. Des parois latérales (130, 132, 134, 136) réglables verticalement permettent au côté de réception de la bande transporteuse (14) de se trouver légèrement plus haut que le côté de sortie afin de capturer l'air chargé d'oxyde. Des chicanes (148, 154, 156) formées dans le logement (12) au-dessus des bandes transporteuses (14) créent un espace mort (140) piégeant l'air exempt de revêtement injecté depuis le dessus pour empêcher que l'air chargé d'oxyde ne remonte du bas.
