Abstract

Système et méthode d'élimination de polluants présents dans les eaux usées. Le système comprend une cellule de zone humide construite, dans laquelle les eaux usées filtrées s'écoulent de manière généralement verticale. Le flux d'eaux usées est insaturé dans la cellule de zone humide, afin d'aérer les eaux usées. Les eaux usées peuvent également être aérées par un ventilateur ou un injecteur. Les eaux usées traitées par la cellule de zone humide sont mélangées avec des eaux usées non traitées, puis recyclées dans la cellule de zone humide ou acheminées vers un système d'évacuation.
