Abstract

L'invention concerne un guide de lumière (8) utilisé pour coupler une quantité maximale de lumière, provenant d'une source d'imagerie (1) pourvu d'une large ouverture numérique, dans un composant (7) de fibre optique pourvu d'une ouverture numérique plus étroite. Lorsqu'une tige effilée enrobée, un faisceau de fibres optiques effilé et étiré, un tube effilé creux réfléchissant et un miroir composé ou une lentille négative font office de guide de lumière, ce dernier fournit un couplage efficace de la lumière dans un composant de fibre optique sans perte de densité de flux. Un tel système est particulièrement avantageux lorsqu'il est utilisé en association avec une source d'imagerie qui produit une très petite taille de spot image à large ouverture numérique, et produit une image 1:1 comme un réflecteur sphérique hors-axe.
