Description
LINER FOR CONTAINER
The present invention relates to a liner for lining a container such as a bucket. The present invention also relates to a method for lining a container.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Cylindrical containers, made of plastic or steel, conventionally used in the construction industry are adapted to receive different types of liquid formulations such as oil, chemicals, cement or flooring compounds. Once done with their work, the workers do not always have easy access to water or other cleaning agents in order to clean the containers and therefore will often discard them instead of reusing them at a later date.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The object of the present invention therefore is to overcome the above shortcomings by providing a new and improved method for easily and rapidly lining a container prior to its use and then to provide for easy removal of the liner in order to be able to save the container for further work at a later date without having to clean the container.
Further objects and advantages of the present invention will be apparent from the following description, wherein preferred embodiments of the invention are clearly shown.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The present invention will be further understood from the following description with reference to the drawings in which:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE
PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION
Referring to Figure 1, a preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown whereby a liner, made of strong, flexible and thin disposable material, is inserted into a container and securely positioned and attached to said container in order to protect the container's interior faces.
The liner is ideally made of plastic with locking devices adaptedly mounted to correspondingly attached to the container it is to be used in combination with. The liners come in all shapes and sizes depending on the type of container it is to be used in combination with.
These liners are especially convenient for use on construction sites or any place where one needs to mix oils, chemicals, cement or flooring compounds for instance. As an example, in the flooring industry when a worker mixes cement or other flooring products and after the worker is done with the work at hand, the worker often does not have access to facilities to clean the container used for that purpose. As a result, the product used, or whatever may be left of it, will eventually harden in the container and said container will have to be thrown out since not reusable.
The liner of the present invention can be made of inexpensive, recyclable and environmentally friendly materials. The liner will keep the container clean and reusable. Instead of buying numerous containers every time a new project is started, or even for a new day for that matter, construction costs may be lowered by simply getting to use the disposable liner of the present invention in combination with one's containers.
The invention may be embodied in other specific forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof. The present embodiments are therefore to be considered as illustrative and not restrictive, the scope of the invention being indicated by the appended claims rather than by the foregoing description, and all changes that come within the meaning and range of equivalency of the claims are therefore intended to be embraced therein.
