Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil (10) permettant d'isoler une unité de réception de données (30) d'une unité d'envoi de données (20). Cet appareil est équipé d'un premier canal de données (22), couplé à l'unité d'envoi de données et d'un second canal de données (32) couplé à l'unité de réception de données. Un processeur (30) est programmé pour comparer une pluralité de mots de données envoyés par le premier canal de données avec au moins une caractéristique de mot de données d'un virus de données et pour activer un signal de contrôle lorsqu'un mot de données envoyé par le premier canal de données correspond à la caractéristique de mot de données d'un virus de données. Un photocoupleur (14) a pour fonction d'isoler le premier canal de données du second lorsque le processeur détecte un virus de données. Une alimentation contrôlable (54) réagit au signal de contrôle (42) provenant du processeur et est reliée au photocoupleur et fournit l'électricité au photocoupleur uniquement lorsque le signal de contrôle provenant du processeur est actif.
