Abstract

L'invention concerne un fragment d'acide nucléique incorporé dans un gène artificiel hybride et exprimé dans un ou plusieurs cadres de lecture de manière à produire un ou plusieurs polypeptides hybrides. Les polypeptides sont examinés sous l'angle d'un ou plusieurs paramètres physiques (par exemple, masse ou composition d'acides aminés). Les valeurs des paramètres examinés sont utilisées pour rechercher un ensemble de paramètres prévus résultant de la traduction hypothétique d'une séquence nucléotidique de référence plus importante, de manière à déterminer si le fragment est contenu dans la séquence de référence et, si tel est le cas, de manière à déterminer la séquence et/ou la capacité de codage de ce fragment.
