Abstract
Dans une configuration d'un accumulateur comprenant un bac (14) présentant des surfaces inférieure, latérales et supérieure, la surface supérieure a une pluralité d'ouvertures de pile et un chemin d'écoulement est amélioré pour l'électrolyte liquide lorsque l'accumulateur est incliné sur chacune de ses surfaces latérales. Le chemin d'écoulement comprend une chambre couvercle pour chaque ouverture de pile définie par une paroi périphérique sensiblement rectangulaire entourant l'ouverture de pile; une paroi cylindrique (24) et sensiblement concentrique par rapport à l'ouverture de pile et placée dans la paroi sensiblement rectangulaire, la paroi cylindrique étant interrompue par une fente (26) périphérique relativement petite. Une paroi (34) s'étend entre la paroi cylindrique et le côté adjacent de la paroi périphérique, la paroi étant tangentielle par rapport à la paroi cylindrique et adjacente à la fente. Un disque polytétrafluoroéthylène poreux (42) logé dans les ouvertures de ventilation du couvercle de l'accumulateur évite le déversement accidentel même si le bac de l'accumulateur est renversé.
