Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé générique permettant de produire des matériaux exempts de vides et d'occlusions gazeuses, ainsi qu'à des appareils de production par lots et en continu de ces matériaux. Ce procédé générique peut être utilisé dans la production d'une grande variété de composés et de composites polymères et il couvre spécifiquement les deux extrémités du spectre des composites polymères, c'est-à-dire les bétons polymères à une extrémité et les composites polymères renforcés par fibres à l'autre extrémité. Ces matériaux composites se caractérisent par le fait qu'ils sont exempts de vides et d'occlusions gazeuses au niveau, évalué visuellement, de 1 micron par grossissement de 1250 x. En même temps, cette invention permet de produire des bétons polymères utiles qui possèdent une intégrité sensiblement améliorée en vue d'un usinage facile à hautes vitesses, ainsi qu'une résistance mécanique et diélectrique élevée, par rapport aux matériaux composites produits par les procédés traditionnels. Ainsi, une application particulièrement bien adaptée de ces matériaux est constituée par la classe des isolateurs et des matériaux électro-isolants haute tension, dans lesquels la présence de vides ou de défauts d'occlusions gazeuses peuvent avoir des effets néfastes, conduisant à leur défaillance précoce.
