Abstract

Procédé et dispositif servant à solliciter un ensemble joint dans une pompe à liquide opérant sous des pressions élevées. Dans un mode de réalisation, cette pompe comprend un piston plongeur effectuant un déplacement alternatif, un support de joint situé autour du piston plongeur, ainsi qu'un joint s'appuyant sur le support de joint et créant un contact étanche avec le piston plongeur. Ce joint peut être sollicité vers le support de joint par un ressort et peut comporter une bride venant en contact avec le ressort afin de limiter le mouvement latéral du ressort par rapport au piston plongeur effectuant un déplacement alternatif. Cette bride peut éventuellement venir en contact avec une surface, soit intérieure, soit extérieure, du ressort. Si ce ressort est un ressort à boudin, la bride peut être continue autour de la circonférence du ressort ou peut comporter une pluralité de saillies éloignées les unes des autres et situées autour de la circonférence du ressort.
