Abstract

The present invention relates to an ultrasonic device for atomizing liquids.
This device is comprised of at least one atomization unit (1) wherein an approximately upward directed ultrasonic transducer (2) is located at the bottom of each unit (1) and the top of each unit (1) is open (covered by gas), and is characterized by a reservoir (3) connected to all of the units (1), means for maintaining a minimum liquid level in each unit during atomization, a high frequency electric supply connected to each transducer (2), and means (6) for circulating the liquid to be atomized through the reservoir (3), across each transducer (2), and back to the reservoir (3).
