Abstract

Cette invention concerne une composition et un procédé améliorés pour traiter des substrats, tels que des non-tissés, en vue de leur conféter des propriétés durables comme la mouillabilité. La composition inclut un modificateur de viscosité qui confère une viscosité réduite à des agents de traitement normalement visqueux et permet leur application à température du local, sans nuire aux propriétés souhaitées du substrat traité. Pour un meilleur résultat, la composition de traitement renferme un polyglycoside d'alkyle ayant 8 à 10 atomes de carbone dans la chaîne alkyle et un surfactant, tel qu'un mélange d'huile de ricin hydrogénée oxyéthylée et de monooléate de sorbitane. Des non-tissés traités, selon le procédé de l'invention, avec des compositions de traitement à haute teneur en matière sèche à température du local, ont une durabilité d'au moins deux cycles comme le montre le test de ruissellement. Les compositions de traitement de l'invention sont stables et adaptées à de nombreux systèmes de traitement classiques.
