Abstract

La présente invention concerne une composition silicone et ses applications, notamment pour l'enduction de sac gonflable, destiné à la protection d'un occupant de véhicule en cas de choc. L'objectif de l'invention est de fournir une composition silicone apte à être enduite sur la face interne du sac gonflable, avec la possibilité de réduire significativement le poids de dépôt de la couche d'enduction, pour constituer un revêtement de protection ayant des propriétés de résistance à la température, de même que des qualités mécaniques et d'adhésion au support améliorées. La composition de l'invention atteint cet objectif, parmi d'autres, en présentant les caractéristiques suivantes: elle est dépourvue de toute charge minérale de renfort et elle consiste dans le mélange formé de: (1) au moins un polyorganosiloxane présentant des groupes alcényles liés au silicium, (2) au moins un polyorganosiloxane présentant des atomes d'hydrogène liés au silicium, (3) un catalyseur de réticulation, (4) un promoteur d'adhérence comportant: (4.1) au moins un organosilane alcoxylé, (4.2) au moins un composé organosilicié époxy fonctionnel et (4.3) au moins un chélate de métal et/ou un alcoxyde métallique où le métal est choisi dans le groupe formé par: Ti, Zr, Ge, Li, Mn, Fe, Al et Mg, (5) au moins une résine polyorganosiloxane, (6) et éventuellement au moins un inhibiteur de réticulation.The present invention relates to a silicone composition and its applications, in particular for the coating of an airbag, intended for the protection of an occupant of a vehicle in the event of an impact. The composition of the invention achieves this objective, among others, by having the following characteristics: it is devoid of any mineral reinforcing filler and it consists of the mixture formed of: (1) at least one polyorganosiloxane having alkenyl groups bonded to silicon, (2) at least one polyorganosiloxane having hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon, (3) a crosslinking catalyst, (4) an adhesion promoter comprising: (4.1) at least one alkoxylated organosilane, (4.2 ) at least one functional epoxy organosilicon compound and (4.3) at least one metal chelate and / or a metal alkoxide where the metal is chosen from the group formed by: Ti, Zr, Ge, Li, Mn, Fe, Al and Mg , (5) at least one polyorganosiloxane resin, (6) and optionally at least one crosslinking inhibitor.
