Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil (9) destiné à inspecter un objet (2) fabriqué dans une matière conductrice; l'appareil comprend un convertisseur de signaux non statiques permettant de générer un champ électromagnétique dans l'objet (2) ainsi qu'un récepteur (20, 21) permettant de mesurer les variations du courant de Foucault généré par le champ électromagnétique non statique et d'émettre un signal représentant l'amortissement du courant de Foucault, dans lequel le convertisseur de signaux non statiques comprend au moins deux émetteurs (11, 12) espacés latéralement destinés à l'émission d'un champ électromagnétique; ces émetteurs (11, 12) sont si excités pendant un fonctionnement normal, que le champ électromagnétique qui en résulte dans la zone centrale (26), entre les émetteurs (11, 12), est intensifié.
